Wall Art | Marysville Ohio

The pictures below are to show what actual print sizes look like matted, framed and hung on a wall.  Most people think of an 8x10 as a wall print when in reality it is a desk print.  The pictures below are as follows clockwise:



11x14 picture, matted and framed in a 16x20 frame
16x20 standout that I now wish I had gotten bigger

Behind the TV is a 20x24 canvas that really doesn't look that big. Next to that is a 12x12 frame with a matted 10x10 picture.  Pretty small as well but in a group very doable.
In this image the shelf has many framed 8x10's and 5x7's.  Much better on a shelf than a wall.
So the point of this post is that it is almost always better to go BIG for wall art!
