This week's Fix it Friday picture really touched my heart. A daddy and his little girl. I am a daddy's girl and this instantly makes me smile. Every girl should have a daddy that adores them. And the look on his face pretty much says it all. Very emotional image. I myself love this image in black and white. Some photos are just better in black and white.

Steps
1. open image isn cs4
2. sharpened image and cropped
3. brightened image
4. dodge/burn where needed
5. s curve pop
6. light facial retouching
7. flatten and save
Then turned that image into black and white using my own action:
